Universidad CAECE

Universidad Caece began its activity in April 1967.

After quickly obtaining provisional recognition from the Ministry of National Education it launched its first degrees: the Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Systems. The Bachelor's degree in Systems was the first of its kind created in the country. Ten years later it opened the Bachelor's degrees in Biological Sciences and in Pedagogical Sciences, both equipped with the suitable infrastructure to carry out the relevant practical work.

After a long process begun in 1978, which included multiple inspections and the submission of extensive and lush documentation, Universidad Caece achieved definitive recognition from the Ministry of Culture and Education, which has essential significance for private universities, as it provides them with autonomy similar to that of state universities.
