What does the degree involve?
The program provides the tools to analyze how international actors relate to each other, what interests influence their decisions and how cooperation and conflict processes develop.
Professional work requires selecting sources, comparing information and building well-founded explanations. When faced with an international problem, the graduate must be able to recognize its background, identify the participants and study the available alternatives.
The degree also develops skills to formulate hypotheses, present diagnoses and communicate conclusions through reports and strategic studies.
How does it relate to other disciplines?
The study of international relations brings together tools from political science, economics, law, history and military studies. Each area allows a different dimension of international affairs to be observed.
Political science helps interpret decisions and power relations; economics makes it possible to study interests and exchanges; law provides regulatory frameworks; and history makes it possible to understand the background of current processes.
The training also addresses foreign policy, globalization, and regional integration agreements. This knowledge makes it possible to relate changes in the global landscape to their effects on Argentina.
What does its orientation contribute?
Analysis of international conflicts
The orientation makes it possible to study the origin, development, and state of conflicts, considering their political, social, and strategic dimensions.
The objective is to understand which factors are involved and to develop analyses that help interpret complex situations.

Developing proposals requires understanding the context and grounding decisions in pertinent information.

These activities require analyzing the international landscape and coordinating knowledge and responsibilities among different participants.
Disarmament and security cooperation
