A manager is responsible for the administration of an organization. A manager is responsible for directing a company or a part of a company. This can include developing strategies, implementing plans, managing human resources, managing finances, managing production, leading work teams, supervising the quality of products and services, managing the supply chain.

A manager is a management professional, there are all kinds of managers and these vary according to the type of company.

There are two types of managers, those who direct the work and those who supervise it. Most people would consider the first to be the most effective and the most influential. However, is that really the case? Most people think that the first type of manager does all the work, while the other takes care of all the details in managing the department. However, is that really true?

The truth is that there are different ways to manage people and departments. There are managers who have to take charge of a particular department while other managers only control part of it. However, at the same time, they have to supervise the entire department. There are managers who run their departments completely without supervision and this does not mean that they do not know how to be a manager. Rather, their responsibility is to supervise the departments they run.

Management functions are present in different types of organization. It can be based on the type of work a company does. A retail store has a different manager than a car manufacturer. They are different roles since the latter is in charge of hundreds of departments and requires a person who knows how to keep the entire department running smoothly.
