This area of research is known as biological anthropology.

Another factor closely related to anthropology is language (how peoples communicate and how their languages have changed over time) and archaeology.
Material remains can tell us a lot about how earlier civilizations lived and are an interesting source of information for anthropologists.
Another interesting aspect of this degree is that you will look for connections between anthropological aspects and topics such as globalization and development.
If you are fascinated by different cultures and want to know how phenomena such as globalization influence them, this is your degree.
You can find anthropologists in different institutions and careers. An anthropologist can work in government entities, on topics such as social development, indigenous languages, etc., in museums, offering training or research services at the university. There are also many anthropologists who work in non-governmental organizations on topics such as fighting poverty, health, human rights, and education. These are often jobs that require a lot of travel and spending time in other countries.
