Interview with Ana Belén, Architect (UBA)
Interview with Ana Belén from urbanizacion.com, Architect U.B.A
What motivated you to study Architecture?
I liked imagining a space, changing it and drawing it.
What would you say to a young person who is about to start the Architecture degree?
To continue with the degree if they really like it, since they will spend hours designing, trying to invent a space, for specific people, listening to the needs they request.
"It's exciting to see how a space is enclosed and materialized."
What advice would you give them?
To go to the construction site while studying, so they can see how work is done, how a project is materialized and how the space comes together as the work grows, together with the clients.
Would you recommend any university?
Yes, UBA is very good in architecture.
What is an architect's day to day like?
It's arriving at the site and solving the problems that come up with each trade, to keep growing together as a team.
What do you like least about the degree?
Structural calculations, but that can be requested from an engineer to calculate it, it's what I do with each project.
Would you study Architecture again?
Yes!, I love it!
