Business and economics degrees in Mexico
Business administration, accounting, marketing, logistics, international trade, finance, economics, actuarial science and more: they are business and economics degrees you can study in Mexico.
If you keep track of the money from a sale at your school, sell things online, or wonder why prices go up, there are bachelor's degrees that start from that.
How business and economics are studied in Mexico
There are bachelor's degrees in the field at public and private institutions in practically the whole country: Ciudad de México, Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Tijuana, Mexicali, Ciudad Juárez or Tuxtla Gutiérrez, among many others. Contador Público is also called ContadurÃa, and Marketing is also called Mercadotecnia.
Each degree looks at money and organizations from a different angle, although they usually share courses in business administration, economics, and accounting. Many overlap with other fields, and there are business administration programs designed for a hotel, a hospital, or a food company. If you choose a private school, ask for its reconocimiento de validez oficial de estudios (RVOE), granted by the SecretarÃa de Educación Pública or the state education authority.

How to choose between them
Notice what you do when no one asks you to: if you are the one who handles the cash box at a sale at your school, if you compare prices before buying, if you start a project with your friends, or if you run a group's social media.
Then think about what you feel most comfortable with: numbers, people, or markets. If you are drawn to accounting, look at Public Accounting or Finance; if you like listening and mediating, Human Resources; if you are drawn to selling, Marketing.
If you're deciding between Public Accounting and Actuarial Science, compare the subjects in each one: one works with accounts, taxes and investments, and the other with risks and mathematics. The career test shows you which one matches your answers best.
