Art degrees in Mexico
Animation, fine arts, music, acting, dance, film, singing and songwriting, cultural management and several more: they are art degrees you can study in Mexico, almost all as a bachelor's degree.
If you record and edit videos, make illustrations, play in a band or take part in your school's showcases, those hours are already a good starting point.
What you study in an art bachelor's degree
You learn by doing: rehearsing, playing, dancing, filming, illustrating. History, language and technique subjects go along with that practice, and what you present is usually a work, a performance or a showcase.
There are programs in public and private institutions, in Ciudad de México and also in Tijuana, Mexicali, Chihuahua, Aguascalientes, Campeche or Tuxtla Gutiérrez. To get in, some require an audition, interview or portfolio, and others only the general admission process.
It's not all about being in the spotlight: producing, designing shows, managing cultural projects or teaching are also part of the art world.

How to choose between them
Think about what you do for fun, without anyone asking you to: filming with your phone, drawing in your notebooks, singing, putting together the poster for a school event.
Then think about whether you see yourself creating the work, helping others make it or teaching it. If organizing is your thing, check out Cultural Management; if you write songs, Singing and Songwriting.
If you're deciding between Animation and Fine Arts, think about whether you're more drawn to telling stories with moving characters or exploring techniques like painting and sculpture, and compare the subjects. The career test gives you another reference point.
