How to choose between them

Notice what comes naturally to you: taking a device apart to see how it works, following a flight on the map or organizing everything that has to be moved for a trip.

Think about whether you prefer understanding how a vehicle is built and maintained, learning to fly it or organizing how its loads are moved. If you enjoy organizing and planning, you will usually feel at home in Logistics.

If you're torn between Aeronautical Engineering and Naval Engineering, compare their subjects and see which university offers them in your autonomous community or nearby. The career test gives you guidance on whether you are more drawn to the machine or the organization.

Frequently asked questions

What grade do they ask for in Aeronautical Engineering?

Each university publishes its cut-off grade, which changes every year and is calculated using the Bachillerato and the Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad (PAU). Check the grades from recent years on each university's website.

How long do these degrees last in Spain?

Pilot training is the shortest in the field; the degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Logistics are longer, and Naval Engineering is a bit longer still.

What is the difference between Aeronautical Engineering and Naval Engineering?

The first studies airplanes, helicopters, and drones; the second deals with how to keep a ship stable and safe while carrying cargo. Both share a foundation of physics and math in the first years.

Do you have to be a pilot to work in aviation?

No. You can study how aircraft are designed or how freight transport is organized; each path has different requirements.

Do I need to know English?

It is used a lot in aviation and international transport, and some programs require it or work on it in class. Check the requirements for each one.

What does Logistics study?

How to manage a company's production, storage, shipping, and distribution of products, by road, sea, or air. It is the option in the field for those who enjoy organizing more than working with machines.
